Nancy Simpson-Banker has more than 30 years experience in fund development including extensive capital campaign, major gifts and talent development experience. Nancy has served as a health care philanthropy executive for nineteen years in New England including service as Vice President for Philanthropy within New England’s largest health care system. She was also a fundraising consultant for seven years where she provided counsel to clients in health care, human services and higher education.

Beyond health care, she served as Director of Recruitment and Training for a 200-person advancement office for a major university in support of a $1.5 billion capital campaign and spent eight years in higher education in Indiana and Pennsylvania.  Most recently, she led the development program at a center for grieving children where philanthropy doubled during her 5 year tenure. She is a member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, where she served on the Board of Trustees for three years.

She is also a member of the New England Association for Healthcare Philanthropy where she served on the board for sixteen years and served the organization as President and Regional Conference Chair. She holds a BA from Boston College and an MA from Indiana University. She earned the designation of Fellow in the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (FAHP) in 2003.
