Tim Brown


With more than 25 years’ experience in health care and benefits administration, Tim Brown brings an abundance of knowledge in information technology, operations management, process evaluation and initiative enhancement. He applies his expertise in project management and strategic planning to provide client support, as well as to oversee internal business operations, system processes and infrastructure strategies. With a strong emphasis on client relationships, Tim enjoys the challenge of helping organizations identify areas of growth and implement improvement plans.

Prior to joining Accordant, Tim held a variety of management positions with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, where he was responsible for enrollment, client relationship management, information technology operations and process improvement initiatives. His background also includes recruiting, training and account management with Colonial Life and Ward Services. He has led customer and IT teams through major strategic initiatives, rebuilding systems and improving operational efficiencies in areas such as membership and claims processing.

Tim is a Certified Facilitator through Development Dimensions International. He holds a Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina and a postgraduate diploma from Furman University’s Institute for the Management of Information Technology.
