Kaitlin Cook brings nearly a decade of development experience in both local and international organizations within the health care, humanitarian, social justice and religious sectors. She has experience working with diverse communities and supporting multiple development initiatives, refining her skills and expertise in strategic planning. Over the years, she has built a track record of generating new business revenue, as well as managing major gift strategies and strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining Accordant Philanthropy®, Kaitlin served as the Director of Development at a nonprofit organization in the religious sector, where she oversaw major and individual giving programs. With a primary goal of increasing unrestricted giving levels, she helped the organization raise record-high funding through sophisticated prospect research and stewardship strategies, including multiple annual giving and major gift campaigns.
In addition to her diligence and creative approach to problem solving, Kaitlin’s professional success is also a result of her strong values, determination and ability to develop and maintain deep relationships. Believing that collaboration and connection are key, Kaitlin’s desire to help others led her to a career in development where she thrives in connecting individuals’ passions with strategies for positive impact. Kaitlin earned a psychology degree from the University of Tennessee.
